The Greatest Single Contribution to Cinema: Gene Wilder

Gene Wilder is one of my favorite actors of all time because of scenes like this. This clip from Young Frankenstein displays the zany comedy, charming wit, and hysterical passion of the man that helped define all of your childhoods with his role as Willy Wonka. I think he is a deserving actor to receive the very first “Greatest Single Contribution to Cinema” award from La Main Noire. Hell, I even named the segment after a line of his in the featured scene. Gene, if you want to collect the award, give us a comment and we’ll work it out. Everyone else, enjoy the comedic brilliance of Mr. Wilder. -Quick
